Yes. Download from WordPress.org, install, ship courses. Native PayPal checkout works without a paid plan. Stripe and 6 more payment gateways unlock on every paid Sikshya Pro plan (Starter, Growth, Scale). No trial expiration on the free plugin.
What happens if I cancel my annual plan?
Your existing courses, learners, and orders keep working — the free Sikshya LMS core never deactivates. Paid add-ons stop receiving updates and stop unlocking when the license expires.
Lifetime — what does it actually mean?
One payment, unlimited updates for the lifetime of the plugin. One year of priority email support included; after that, community support continues. No surprise expirations.
How does the 14-day refund work?
Email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund — no interrogation, no "tell us why you cancelled" form. The free plugin keeps working forever regardless.
Can I upgrade between tiers later?
Yes. Move from Starter to Growth (or Growth to Scale) any time — we credit the unused portion of your current license against the upgrade. Lifetime plans can also upgrade by paying the difference.
Do I need WooCommerce to take payments?
No. PayPal and offline / manual ship natively in the free plugin. Stripe, Razorpay, Mollie, Paystack, Square, Authorize.Net, and Bank Transfer are enabled on every paid plan (Starter, Growth, Scale). No WooCommerce, no third-party commerce plugin.
Does Sikshya LMS take a cut of my course sales?
No. There are no transaction fees, no per-sale commission, and no revenue share. Whatever your payment gateway charges (PayPal / Stripe / etc.) is between you and them — Sikshya LMS never sits in the money flow.
Where does my course data live?
Inside your own WordPress database, on your own hosting. Sikshya LMS is self-hosted — there is no SaaS layer, no learner data sent off-site, and nothing breaks if your license lapses (the free core keeps working).
Can I switch from another WordPress LMS?
You can install Sikshya LMS alongside another LMS plugin on a staging site to evaluate it. We don't currently ship an automated importer from LearnDash, LifterLMS, or Tutor LMS, so moving an existing course catalog means rebuilding course structure in Sikshya LMS. For complex moves, contact our team.
What support do I get with a paid plan?
