Course Reviews & Ratings
Enrolled learners leave star ratings and reviews on course pages, with admin moderation.
Why this matters
Course buyers often read reviews before enrolling. Without a built-in review system, operators bolt on a generic WP rating plugin that doesn't understand courses or enrollment state. A course-aware review system knows who actually took the course and only lets those learners review.
What you get
- Only enrolled learners can leave a rating or review for a course.
- Average star and review count display on the course page.
- Moderate from a dedicated Reviews admin page — approve, unpublish, or delete.
- Choose between auto-publish and hold-for-review.
What it unlocks
-
Verified-learner reviews
Only enrolled learners can leave a rating, so reviews come from people who actually took the course — not drive-by visitors or competitors.
-
Public rating block
Average star, total review count, and approved reviews appear on each course page to build social proof for new buyers.
-
Admin moderation
A dedicated Reviews page lets you approve, unpublish, or delete. Switch between auto-publish and hold-for-review per site.
How it works
-
1
Enable Course Reviews
Turn on the add-on under Sikshya Add-ons. A review block automatically appears on every course landing page.
-
2
Pick your moderation mode
Choose auto-publish (reviews go live instantly) or hold-for-review (you approve each one first) from the Reviews settings.
-
3
Learners rate, you moderate
Enrolled learners submit a 1-5 star rating with an optional written review. You manage them all from the Reviews admin page.
Frequently asked
Can non-enrolled visitors leave a review?
No. Only learners who have enrolled in the course can submit a review. This keeps the ratings honest and prevents review spam.
Can I edit or remove reviews?
Yes — there's a Reviews admin page where you can approve, unpublish, or delete any review.
