Social Login
Let learners sign in with Google, Facebook, or Twitter instead of creating a new password.
Why this matters
Asking a learner to invent a new password before they can enroll adds friction at exactly the wrong moment. Social login removes that step for visitors who already use those providers.
What you get
- Reduce signup friction for learners who already have a Google, Facebook, or Twitter account.
- Bring your own OAuth credentials and paste them into Sikshya's settings.
- Existing learners can still sign in with email + password — social login is additive.
What it unlocks
-
Google, Facebook, Twitter sign-in
Learners click "Continue with Google" instead of inventing yet another password. Fewer abandoned signups before they ever reach checkout.
-
Bring your own OAuth keys
Register your site with each provider and paste the keys into Sikshya's settings. Your credentials, your audit trail.
-
Additive, never forced
Email + password sign-in keeps working. Social login is an extra option for learners who prefer it, not a replacement.
How it works
-
1
Register with each provider
Create OAuth credentials in Google, Facebook, or Twitter's developer console. They give you a client ID and secret.
-
2
Paste keys into Sikshya
Open the social-login settings and paste each provider's keys. Toggle on the providers you want offered at sign-in.
-
3
Learners click + sign in
The login screen now shows "Continue with Google" buttons. Learners click, approve once, and land on their account.
Frequently asked
Do I need to set up anything with Google / Facebook / Twitter?
Yes — you need to register your site with each provider to get OAuth keys, then paste those keys into Sikshya's social-login settings. Sikshya LMS doesn't share credentials.
