Your key pages and templates, found for you and checked daily or weekly as a logged-out visitor, with an alert only when new errors appear.

Overview
Scheduled checks is a card on the Page checks screen, under Lumtera → Checks. Choose Daily, Weekly or Off under Run scheduled checks, keep "Include key templates automatically" ticked, and press Save. Runs start at 03:00 site time. The card shows Last run and Next run, and Run now starts a run straight away. Once your license is active, scheduled checks are set to Daily until you change them.
Each run fetches pages from your own server as a logged-out visitor, with no cookies: up to 25 pages on Personal, 100 on Growth, 250 on Agency and 500 on Unlimited. Lumtera builds the list in order: your theme's key templates, signed-in pages if you set them up, every page you have checked in your browser, the addresses under "Also check pages from", which can be this site's sitemap or a pasted list, then recently updated content. The card says how many pages each run checks and how many the plan left out.
A scheduled check runs the content checks and the page-level checks for title, language, a way to skip to the content and zoom on each page's HTML, without a browser. Its result replaces the page's Desktop row, marked Scheduled, logged out, and keeps the contrast and target-size findings from your last browser check. When a page has errors that were not there on its previous scheduled check, Lumtera sends an alert to your alert email and Slack, with a link to Page checks.
Why does it matter?
A plugin update, a new banner or a theme change can break accessibility on every page overnight. Nobody re-checks the home page, the checkout and the 404 page every morning, but a schedule can.

Choose a schedule
Pick Daily or Weekly and leave "Include key templates automatically" on. Pages you check in your browser are added; pages you remove from the results are left out.

Your own server fetches each page and runs the checks in the background, five pages at a time.

A plugin or theme update can change the header, footer or checkout overnight. A daily run catches new errors before many visitors meet them.

Consent banners, login prompts and logged-out menus only appear to visitors. Scheduled checks see the page the way visitors do.

Turn on the sitemap or paste a list of addresses to go beyond the key templates, up to your plan's pages per run. Each finished run is also saved for Compare scans.

- Plans and access
- Included in every Pro plan. Pages per run: 25 on Personal, 100 on Growth, 250 on Agency and 500 on Unlimited. Signed-in pages count toward the same pages per run. Changing the schedule needs the same permission as the Lumtera reports, editors and administrators by default.
- Templates found for you
- The home page, the posts page, your busiest category, tag and author archives, search results, a 404 page, WooCommerce's shop, cart, checkout and account pages, and the newest item of each content type Lumtera checks. The card lists every template it found.
- How runs are started
- Runs use Action Scheduler when another plugin, such as WooCommerce, provides it, and WP-Cron otherwise. WP-Cron needs site traffic or a server cron, so on a quiet site a run can start late. Tools → Site Health reports jobs that are running late.
- Fetching rules
- Only your own host is requested. Redirects are followed up to three times while they stay on the site. Each page gets 15 seconds and up to 6 MB. Cart and checkout are fetched without adding a product, so checkout may show its empty-cart state.
- What it cannot see
- Without a browser there is no CSS or layout, so contrast, target size, sideways scrolling, text spacing, keyboard, widget and hover-state checks come from browser checks only. Content that JavaScript adds after the page loads is not in the fetched HTML. Scheduled checks never submit forms.

Can it check pages on other domains?
No, only your own site. Addresses on other sites are refused, and redirects are followed only while they stay on your site. For many client sites, use the client portfolio.
Can I choose exactly which pages are checked?
Yes, within your plan's pages per run. Untick "Include key templates automatically" to use only your own pages, paste addresses under "These addresses", check a page once in your browser to add it, and press Remove in the results to leave one out until you check it again.
When do alerts start?
The first scheduled check of a page only records its errors. Alerts start from the next run, and list only errors that are new since the previous scheduled check of that page.
Will it slow my site down?
Runs start at 03:00 site time. Each batch checks at most five pages, and the next batch is queued about 30 seconds later, so the pages are not all requested at once.
