Review mode on the live page

Review mode shows a post's accessibility issues on the front end, inside the theme visitors see. When you view a single post, page or product while logged in, Lumtera adds an Accessibility item to the admin bar, with a red count when the last saved check found errors. Click it and the page reloads in review mode; click it again, or Close review, to leave.

The review panel has two tabs. This post checks the post's content with the same rules as the editor and outlines each problem where it appears. Whole page checks everything else on the page as your browser renders it, from the header and menus to the footer, and has its own feature page. In both, issues are listed errors first, each with its severity, a short message, a Show on page button and a How to fix section with a WCAG link. Show on page scrolls to the element and moves keyboard focus to it.

The panel footer has an Outlines checkbox, an Edit post link and Close review, and Escape collapses the panel. The panel is drawn in its own isolated layer, so your theme's CSS cannot restyle or hide it. Review pages are sent with no-cache headers, so browsers and proxies do not keep an old copy of the results.
