Overview
The portfolio is a Portfolio screen under Accessibility on your own WordPress site, which acts as the hub. Connect a client site asks for the Site address, a Username and an Application Password. The hub contacts the site straight away, so a wrong password, a redirect or a missing plugin shows as an error while the form is still in front of you.
On the client site you install the free Lumtera plugin, add a user with the Lumtera Reporter role, and create an Application Password on that user's profile. The role can read the accessibility summary and nothing else. The screen has a short How to get an Application Password guide, and removing a site reminds you to revoke its password on the client site too.
The screen opens with the Average score across sites, total Errors, Sites with errors and the number of Sites. The Sites table lists your own site first, then each client with its Score, Errors, Needs review and how much content has been checked, such as 120 of 134. The site name opens that site's Lumtera overview in a new tab. Refresh updates one site; Refresh all queues every site.
Why it matters
Agencies look after dozens of sites. Logging in to each one to see whether anything has slipped does not scale, and sending client data to yet another cloud dashboard raises its own questions.

How it behaves, what it needs, and where its limits are.
- Plans and access
- Agency and Unlimited plans. The screen needs an administrator on the hub. On a lower plan, saved sites are kept but stop syncing until you upgrade.
- Syncing
- Sites sync every 12 hours in the background, a few seconds apart, and on demand with Refresh or Refresh all.
- What is included
- The figures come from each site's content scans: score, errors, items to review and coverage. Page checks, PDF results and fix tasks on a client site are not part of the portfolio.
- Stored passwords
- Application Passwords are encrypted with your site's security keys. If those keys change, each site must be added again; defining LUMTERA_PRO_ENCRYPTION_KEY in wp-config.php avoids that. Client sites must use HTTPS, and redirects are never followed.
- Order
- Client sites are listed in the order you connected them, not by score. The summary counts at the top show how many sites have errors.

Do client sites need Lumtera Pro?
No. The portfolio reads the site summary from the free plugin. Only the hub needs an Agency or Unlimited license.
What can the hub see on a client site?
Only the accessibility summary the free plugin provides. The Lumtera Reporter role cannot edit content, and page titles in the summary come from published pages only.
Is there a limit on how many sites I can connect?
The portfolio does not cap the number of client sites. Syncs are spread a few seconds apart, so a long list takes a little longer to refresh.
